About Us

Derbyshire Dog Agility Club is a Kennel Club registered agility club founded in 1997.

Being Kennel Club registered means we are bound by the strict rules and regulations of, and are managed in line with, the Kennel Club principles of fairness and integrity. Above all, we support the Kennel Club’s commitment to the health and welfare of dogs.

We are not a commercial business, we are a not for profit organisation run by volunteers.

We offer agility training to competition standard with a selection of top trainers for anyone from complete beginners to experienced handlers.

Concessionary training fees are available to juniors up to the age of eighteen, full time students and senior citizens.

Our popular Three Day Agility Show, which includes qualifiers for Crufts, Olympia, Discover Dogs and other major agility events, is held on the last weekend of July each year at Catton Hall.

Our new Championship Show for Large dogs is held at the end of January each year at Oakridge Arena.

The club holds it's annual AGM on the first Sunday in December to which everyone is invited to attend and have their say.

Membership includes a club polo shirt, our monthly email newsletter and access to our Facebook Group.
